Europe 2011/12 - Day 5 - London

Today I join JG JL and PC for some museum action - I meet up with JG first though yay

we meet up at West End. So many cool theatres and shows - why cant we have this in Sydney!

We decide to watch Chicago tonight - why? you’ll see later why!

axel at the national gallery. saw amongst other things van gogh’s sunflower. defs felt more cultured after this visit.

after national gallery with the girls - we parted, since i wanted to see westminster abbey and the palace of westminster (which they had done already). we decided to meet up later today at the British Museum

Downing St! couldnt see 10 Downing St coz of guards and fences nowadays.. in there somewhere Hugh Grant (whoops I mean David Cameron) is dancing to Jump (For My Love)

next stop - westminster abbey. such a HUGE place - the audio guide is a must. learnt about the church of England, and how the coronation of kings and queens occur. Had an amazing time here

After spending something like 2 hours at the abbey, I then started to walk towards the British Museum to meet up with the girls

axel at the British Museum! this is, truly, the biggest museum I have even been or seen. amazing. it stuff from ALL OVER THE WORLD TOO! JG commented why got to Egypt when all the things we want to see are at the British Museum? and Why go to Greece when all the things we want to see are at the British Museum?

Then after British Museum, I went back to rest for a bit, then it was off to watch Chicago. Why did we choose Chicago you ask?

sadly, it wasnt my favourite musical. loved america ferrera - she is awesome. sing dance act, the works. just didnt like the plot and musical itself. 

OMG I HAVE JUST SEEN A WEST END PRODUCTION. MAD.
