Europe 2011/12 - Day 25 - Rome & Florence
SInce our train was at 10:48am, and JG and I had to miss Colosseum yesterday, we left early to check it out. We dropped off out luggage at Termini, then metro-ed to the Colosseum

then it was onto catching our train to Florence. the city I have been looking forward the most!

and how does Florence greet us? with a bit of sun. amazing stuff.

and before things closed, JG and I headed to the Galileo museum for some science goodness!
some of the exhibits. the last one is Galileo’s middle finger, tooth and something else… yeah. it was a nice exhibition of science, JG LOVED it and something that my brother would too haha
and next up is the Duomo! simply amazed when I first saw it majestic and remarkable. AC influences definitely wins.
then we met up with CS for some dinner and gelato. “some” … yeah. felt so so full after. why?
massive amounts of meat and gelato. we are in Tuscany after all!
