it was day trip to Maranello day!
why you ask? the photos below should explain why we are headed to the small Italian town of Maranello if you have no idea..

to get to Maranello - we needed to catch a train to Bologna from Florence, then to Modena, then catch a bus to Maranello

downtown Modena. it was freezing!

to get to the bus stop in Modena to take us to Maranello, we had to catch a quick bus from Modena train station to the bus station. We had no idea where to stop, stayed on the bus for way too long and then decided we were lost and hopped off the wrong bus. Here is us waiting for the bus on the way back to the bus station to then catch the right bus to Maranello lol
yes this is why. Ferrari’s are made here.

then we had dinner at a trattoria that apparently locals frequent - we got there really late like 9:30pm and there was still a massive line! luckily we asked for a table for 2 and that we didnt wait too long for. we literally jumped the queue, legally of course!
