HK&China 2011 Day 16 - Shanghai

mini-amusement park at People’s Park

was looking for any concierge to ask for a map, and i decided to head into the Le Meridian at east nanjing. lobby was at level 11, and look at what i saw when the lift doors opened at L11 for me. yum. angelo reckons it was a sunday brunch thing

hersheys!

entrance gate to the shanghai museum

4 floors with about 4 exhibition rooms each!

and some of the exhibits i saw:

this is one block of jade! such detail!

this was unearthed from someone’s tomb. i want this too.

normal sized coins

HUGE-AS coins

and now the super small coins

apparently at some point, countries just decided to create money to be used in china. lol

and as usual, you have to go through the souvenir shop to exit the museum

remember the “dead” turtle from a few days back?

free glass bottle coke. told you that glass bottle cokes keeps the most fizz, hence the best! there was fake snow as well

after looking at electronics (and angelo was contemplating his monster beats), we went to RBT cafe!

hi judy - thanks to angelo, i have now tried the dirt drink too. it aint too bad. filling though! but sadly we didnt sit on the swings. only you and steph would wait for that, at least i thought anyway =P
